Burgers with a view…

So to kick things off right, we thought we’d grab a couple of folding chairs and get a little preview of how we’ll get to spend our evenings once the house is done…
We stopped to pick up some dinner at the newly opened gourmet burger bistro in Pickering. The place is called The WORKS and OMG if you’ve yet to check it out, it’s burger HEAVEN!! The menu is epic and includes 60 – yes SIXTY featured gourmet burgers! Oh – and did I mention that if none of them are quite perfect as is – you can customize the toppings to your heart’s content!? Yea…we’ll definitely be making this place a part of the Friday night rotation!
It was so nice just to be able to sit & relax, listen to the birds and if we listened close – we could just hear sound of the lake in the background. Not bad for just a few steps outside of your bedroom. Can’t wait to be able to enjoy this for real! Sigh…just a few more months right?!

Well, this week has been a busy one on site at the Dreamhouse. We’ve had 3 trades – Plumbing, Electrical & HVAC – all working simultaneously and making lots of progress. We snapped a few pics on our way out to show what they’ve been up to…
